Computer Information Science

Program Overview

This program provides students with a strong foundation in computer systems, software applications, networking, cybersecurity, and programming. Coursework covers both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in areas such as computer hardware, operating systems, databases, web development, and IT support. Students develop problem-solving and analytical skills essential for success in today’s technology-driven workplaces. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions such as IT support specialists, network technicians, systems analysts, or software developers, or may choose to continue their studies in advanced computing fields.

While pursuing the Computer Information Science AAS degree and upon successful completion specific courses, the stackable Computer Information Science Short-Term Certificate, Cyber Security Short-Term Certificate, Network & Support Short-Term Certificate and Graphics & Web Design Short-Term Certificate will be awarded to students.
